Immune Support: What to take?

by Ann Zimmerman, L.Ac.

A healthy immune system protects you against seasonal cold’s, flus, and the wear of day to day stress. The witer seasons puts added pressure on your immune system with it’s cold damp weather, limited sunlight and increased time spent inside. A Few Word Concerning the H1N1 Virus

by Clark Zimmerman, L.Ac.

By now I’m sure everyone has become somewhat familiar with the H1N1 Virus. We have seen quite a few patients with flu-like symptoms, and some confirmed cases of H1N1 Virus in our clinic. It talked about the often exorbitant costs associated with western medical diagnostics and treatments. The article mentions, for instance, that especialists typically charge between $100-$500 for an office visit. Then they usually rely on MRI’s, x-rays, and CT scans that can cost thousands of dollars more. These costs only help with a diagnosis; treatment options, which often include surgery or pharmaceutical prescriptions, can cost significantly more money. With all of these expenses, there is still no guarantee that the problem will be fixed.
